Listing the property / business

Certain features and/or qualities are associated with saleable listings. These characteristic refer both to property issues and professional skill of the salesperson.

Accurate information - The listing is a contract and information must be complete and accurate. Inaccurate or incomplete information can have legal consequences.

Knowledge of the property - A working knowledge of the property is essential and will pay off during showings to prospective buyers. The same goes for the knowledge of the industry itself e.g. trends, guest base, ongoing issues, etc.

Listing agreement - An agreement under which the owner appoints a real estate brokerage for a designated period of time to sell, lease or exchange a property based on the owner's stated terms and under which the owner agrees to pay the brokerage a commission.

A compiled list of documents that will help to list your property successfully. It is not unusual that the owners don't have all the documents listed and also please ignore the ones which are not applicable for your business.
